Senior Great Plains Implementation Consultant
Level: Professional Technical, Junior and Senior levels
Location: Campbell, CA
Job description:
We are currently seeking a Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for business process reviews and the implementation of processes, solutions and products to meet and exceed our clients’ objectives. Providing pre-sales and post-sales presentation support. Configuring and training on Great Plains product, migrating from other business applications to Great Plains.
Qualified individuals will have 5+ years of Information Systems experience, with at least 3 years of IT consulting experience. Experience with implementing Great Plains is required. Project management certification is a plus. Great Plains Masters certification is a plus. Experience working with manufacturers and distributors is a plus. Some travel is required.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation and support of Great Plains software.
- Support existing client base in the areas of Great Plains.
- Providing input and advice regarding Microsoft Great Plains capabilities and functions to client organizations.
- Responsibilities for software configuration, documentation, implementation, training and support of the Microsoft Great Plains software.
- Analyze and develop recommendations to meet deliverable targets and complete project tasks within budget and to clients' satisfaction.
- Identify assignment conflicts and issues and communicate to Engagement Project Manager.
- Assist with the development and enhancement of implementation methodologies.
- Participate in company initiatives (functional and technical analysis, documentation, and development etc).
- Build positive client relationships while developing an understanding of customers' businesses;
- Some travel may be required
Required Qualifications
- An accounting designation or a University degree with an accounting major would be beneficial. Candidates working towards a CMA or CGA designation or equivalent education and work experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with Great Plains ERP
- Demonstrated product knowledge in Great Plains ERP
- Demonstrated expertise with financial and accounting functions.
- Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies would be a benefit.
- Excellent communications and presentation skills.
