Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007) is an intranet server system intended to help you manage your company’s information. Part of the 2007 Microsoft Office system, MOSS 2007 is used to build custom web pages for handling documents, workflow, and collaboration for project teams. MOSS 2007 can even be extended to use alternate authentication schemes, allowing partners, customers, etc. access to portions of your environment you want them to have access to.
