PlanetMagpie Wins 2015 WebAward for Building Therapy Services Provider Website
WebAward for AisforAppleInc.com is 11th Award and 1st in Health Care Category
Saying the healthcare field is “highly competitive” is an understatement. Thousands of businesses and nonprofit organizations compete for customers, especially on the Web.
The WebAwards are intended to highlight the best examples of business websites. The clearest, most usable, and most innovative. They’ve just recently announced the 2015 winners across 96 categories (including Health Care).
The A is for Apple, Inc. website, created earlier this year by PlanetMagpie Web Development, won the 2015 Health Care Standard of Excellence WebAward.
A is for Apple: Autism Therapy for Children, Help for Families
The A is for Apple website was not PlanetMagpie’s first healthcare company website to build, but it was the largest. A is for Apple provides multiple therapies to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or related developmental disorders.
The website underwent a complete rebuild. Audience research determined what A is for Apple’s customers really needed from their website, requiring all-new content. PlanetMagpie also designed a brand-new site layout meant for ease of use on any device.
“This is one of the most finely-detailed websites we’ve ever built,” said Doreyne Douglas, Vice President of PlanetMagpie. “Every page, every topic covered, it’s all done to give parents of children with autism the help they need.”
The new A is for Apple site provides parents with:
- Easy-to-read details on therapy services, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and speech-language therapy
- Help working with insurance companies and state-run Regional Centers
- A Glossary of therapy terms as a quick reference
- Videos to welcome new visitors and showcase the A is for Apple facilities
- And a new blog for announcements and conversations.
Children’s Therapy Provider Earning Its Award
The work paid off. The new website gave A is for Apple a surge in traffic, branding reputation and customers. The therapy provider is now so busy it now has to turn away customers!
Given the rampant success, PlanetMagpie decided to submit their site for a WebAward.
WebAward Judges weigh seven major factors, including Design, Innovation, Content, Technology, Interactivity, Copywriting and Ease of Use.
AisforAppleInc.com received the highest marks for Interactivity, Content and Ease of Use – easily earning it the Health Care Standard of Excellence Award.
